Designer Gustaf Nordenskiold developed a technique to randomize each Quake Mugs' shape before hand-applying a clear blue or white glaze to the inside. Characterized by a shadowy white that becomes transparent in certain light, the Quake Mug combines the finest materials with an enlightened philosophy.
Nordenskiold says that each Quake Mug imparts an acute awareness to its user; believing that holding an inimitable, uncommon object forces the user to be more cognizant of how he or she handles it, which in turn heightens the user's awareness of his or her actions as they relate to the outside world.
