This certified authentic Washington Heights/6th Ave NYC B Train Subway Sign roll sign is an original component from a decommissioned R32 Brightliner. The R32 Brightliners, some of which are still in service, were the first stainless steel subway cars for the former New York City Transit Authority, now known as the Metropolitan Transit Authority. The R32 Brightliners set the standard for all future subway trains and at the age of 47 years old, are well past the average service life of most train models.
