Vintage Reproduction Map of Paris

$119.99

This Vintage Reproduction Map of Paris is a colorful depiction of a Paris still rooted in medieval architecture, 20 years before civic planner Baron Haussmann took to rebuilding it into the aesthetic metropolis it is today. This highly detailed map of Paris was originally produced under the supervision of The Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge, commonly known as SDUK. Originally printed in London, SDUK city maps and plans are superb examples of 19th century urban cartography.

We are proud to offer archival prints of this rare engraving during a period of history that predates Paris' architectural rebirth. Encased in a sleek, stylish black frame, this Paris map is a superb example of 19th century cartography, and would look great in any room, especially a study or den.
